The Goldilocks Trail at Island Lake Lodge is an alpine loop in the Lizard Range near Fernie BC. The 3.7 km trail is a new extension of the existing Spineback trail. The trail takes hikers through valleys, a mountain pass and through the dramatic peaks of the 3 Bears. Hikers can expect spectacular views, wildflowers and if your lucky, you might see Mountain Goats.

The Spineback Trail is one of the signature hikes at Island Lake Lodge. Paralleling the beautiful Spineback Ridge, the trail winds up through sub-alpine meadows, reaching the crest of the ridge and its bench. Continue to the second bench nestled between the 3 Bears’ peaks.
