The Fernie Community Choir provides the opportunity for anyone to join and practice as a community choir. They also perform periodically in the community. The Fernie Community Choir meets once per week on Tuesdays at the Arts Station from 7-9pm sharp. We accept new members and sing 4 part acapella music. No experience necessary.

The Fernie Visual Artist Guild was established on March 23, 1953. The club wanted to encourage an exploration of the arts. A group of like-minded individuals pursuing their passion and helping one another.

Meet the wheel is an opportunity to try our the wheel for the first time! They strongly suggest this two hour workshop for anyone thinking about taking the intensive later on. This is a great precursor because you'll be able to gauge whether or not wheel throwing is for you! It's often tricker than people expect which is why it's nice to give it a go first with less commitment.

Join local creative and all-around fantastic person, Rivka Landsberg, at The Arts Station on Friday, September 22nd at 3pm for an afternoon of skateboard deck painting in preparation for the Wheelie Out Skate Jam! This event is free and is for those aged 12-18. Limited to 18 people. Registration includes skateboard deck, paint, and pizza. Just bring your ideas, creativity, and fabulous selves!
If you wish to ride your skateboard upon completion, please note that wheels and bearings are not included - just the deck!
Come to The Pub on Friday, September 23rd for a night of fierce banter and fiercer moves. Elk Valley Pride Festival favourites, Farrah Nuff and Nada Nuff, have brought the entire family with them this year to entertain you! Joining Farrah and Nada is Nearah Nuff and Tana Nuff are very, very special guests, Ella Lamoureux and Brad Diesel. Doors at 8:30pm with the show starting at 9:00pm.
Come early to get a good seat and remember, tipping the artists is always recommended and no touching the artists unless CONSENT if given.
Join AllChromes Film Lab for Beers and Cameras! The walk starts at Freshies at 5pm for a drink, leaving by 5:30pm. Meander through the trail linking the Annex to the Industrial area to arrive at Fernie Brewing Company by 7pm.
Tickets are $10.60 and are available online or at the door (subject to availability). Up to 50% of tickets sold in advance (online sales close at 6:30pm) and the remainder will be sold at the door on a first come, first serve basis.
The Elk Valley Pride Festival is a multi-day event of fun, friendship, and unity to celebrate Pride in the Elk Valley.
This event is hosted by the Fernie Pride Society and is a destination event for Elk Valley locals and 2SLGBTQ+ visitors. Eeveryone is welcome and most events are family-friendly.
