Weekly Whereabouts with the Fernie Visual Artists

Join the Fernie Visual Artists each week for their causal, drop-in whereabouts en Plein air. Bring your art supplies, a lawn chair, and your imagination as we explore various locations in our neighbourhood. Let the locale influence your creative curiosity and discover your own adaptation of our community every Monday evening.

This Weeks Location will be: Hosmer - the lower ruin

Head east out of town. Turn right at the Fire Station/Community Centre in Hosmer, 6th Ave. Turn right onto Front Street. Cross the tracks and go left on Stephenson. The entrance will be on the right. Carpooling is advised, parking is limited.

Casual Drop in from 6:30pm

Default meeting place Rotary Park Gazebo in case of rain. Materials are required.

What to Bring:

• Art Materials - paint, brushes, water, paper towel, paper/canvas, palette paper, etc.
• Eisel or board to paint on
• A stool/chair to sit
• Water, sunscreen, bug spray, hat, sunglasses, rain jacket
