Sparwood Coal Miner Days

Coal Miner Days is a Community celebration that has something for everyone, from sporting events to bounce houses and everything in between.

Coal Miner Days proceeds have been raised to support: Lilac Terrace expansion, new Sparwood Skate Park, Raise a Child UP, Sparwood EDC Committee, Sparwood Food Bank, Search & Rescue as well as sporting groups in our community. Coal Miner Days are packed full of exciting events, fun for the entire family!

Sparwood Coal Miner Days Society is excited to announce that this year’s events will once again be week-long, the second week of June. Each yearthey work hard to bring a fun, inexpensive weekend to the residents and visitors of Sparwood, while highlighting all the great things that their community has to offer. The focus for their event continues to be about building community spirit, lending a helping hand and getting involved, all while showcasing the community.
