This class invites children to freely explore and enjoy the process of creation. During this class children will be invited to roam freely, choosing from a variety of open ended, self-directed experiences. We will share and collaborate, play together in large sensory bins, and create using cardboard, clay and mixed media. Each class has multiple invitations to create; your child will make their own choices and travel at their own pace. Providing beautiful, open ended, engaging play opportunities helps build creative confidence, problem solving skills and negotiate friendships and situations. Rich sensory experiences help them make sense of the world, test things out, enjoy and relax, or experience something new. No pressure to do or be anything, just their imaginative, playful selves!

Parents attend with their child. Younger siblings under 2 welcome but parents should be ready to closely supervise as there will be smaller loose parts present.

Please note this workshop is planned for upstairs which is accessed by steep stairs. Please indicate if you have any accessibility requirements when registering so we can best accommodate.
