Join SheJumps and Fernie Alpine Resort to celebrate International Women's Day on March 11, 2023!

Join SheJumps on March 11th at Fernie Alpine Resort for a day of skiing and snowboarding with a supportive women's community.

They'll be kicking the weekend off at Fernie Distillers on Friday, March 10th at 7:00pm with a panelist event hosted by Nordica. The event will be a discussion about women in sports and business and how to make the outdoors more accessible to everyone as an individual and as a community. LINK TO REGISTER COMING SOON.

They want to invite ALL women and girls to connect with nature; dismissing the notion that you need pristine mountains or steep trails to be ‘outdoorsy’, Get the Girls Out! reminds us all to get outside and have fun!

Get the Girls Out! is a message of inclusion and community. It’s our hope that Get the Girls Out! events invite everyone—regardless of age or ability—to connect with nature. Studies show that going outside is not only good for you, it cultivates hope, courage, and resilience. As we challenge gender bias and discrimination through our mission to increase the participation of ALL women and girls in outdoor activities, we need to have the tools to fight for equality.
