Live Music: Los Variants

Los Variants’ personnel is made up of some of Canada’s top musicians featuring Michael Occhipinti on guitars, Andrew McCansh on trumpet, Jonathon Amador on bass/vocals, Luis Orbegoso on percussion/trombone and vocals and Vince Maccarone on drums. The band takes the audience on a musical journey around the world exploring the connection between their collective musical backgrounds.

The 2022 Touring Series draws from the 1st Los Variants CD, - "jass/blues" and alsofrom the latest CD "O Passeio" which features jazz, AfroFunk, Middle Eastern groove and rhythms from the Caribbean. Collectively the members of Vince Maccarone’s Los Variantshave won and been nominated for many JUNOS and will be bringing all of their rich musical history to this event.
