7th Annual Fernie Chautauqua 2022

The 7th Annual Fernie Chautauqua is a celebration of culture, heritage and community. This year's event is centered around the Fernie Museum's new exhibit, 'Women of Michel,' an art installation by four women who were born in the former nearby Mining community.
Programming includes an opening reception, panel discussion, and a night at the Michel Hotel! Other activities include an Chautauqua Kids, including 'Fernie Kids Got Talent,' a chance to look behind the scenes at the work of the FDHS, new mobile exhibits, live entertainment and demonstrations and exhibitions from local artists and artisans including the Fernie Visual Arts, Spinners & Weavers and Quilt Guilds!
