Calling all Bridgerton fans and dessert lovers!

Join the Fernie Youth Action Network for English style high tea and treats and a lively discussion centered around the wildly popular Austen inspired novel series Bridgerton by Julia Quinn, which has been adapted for Netflix by Shonda Rimes. You’ll nerd out about all things Regency period and try to answer deep questions like, Have things really changed all that much for women since 1820? Does colour blind casting change historical accuracy? Is something lost in book to screen adaptions or can stories actually be made better? Bridgerton Beefs; propagating gender myths? and of course you’ll swoon over stunning costumes lavish sets and the scrumptious FOOD!

This will also be a book exchange, so bring your gently read novels and prepare to take home some new ones.
