Fernie & District Arts Council Special General Meeting

As voted by the members at the FDAC AGM, on September 14th 2021, a Special General Meeting has been called for the election of directors to the FDAC Board and User group Discussion. Register to receive the zoom link.

Nominations for FDAC directors have reopened and will be received until October 1st (2 weeks before the Special General Meeting). More information can be found here.

To attend the Special General Meeting please register as individuals (even if you reside in the same household) to be sent voting through election runner. Only those present and members in good standing will be able to vote. Each membership gets one vote (for example a family membership is one vote). Renew or join here.

The election will be carried out through Election runner. 

Agenda & Information

Paper copies will be available for collection at The Arts Station.

Please join the meeting promptly at 6pm. Quorum will be counted at Call of Order through a roll call, this will assist facilitators in imputing members in good standing present at the meeting into the Election runner which will be used to vote. 

Zoom meeting etiquette should be followed, this includes but is not limited to the following:

  • The meeting will be recorded for the official record.
  • Have your name recognizable
  • Remain muted when not speaking
  • If you wish to speak add your name to the chat
  • Motions should be added to the chat
  • If you wish to vote against or to abstain should be added to the chat
