SheJumps and Sports Basement Online Basic Bike Mechanics Workshop
Join SheJumps for an online Basic Bike Mechanics workshop to get your bike ready for the summer season (and Bike to Wherever Day on May 21st)!
They're very excited to be partnering once again with Sports Basement, this time to be offering their first bike education event. The virtual workshop will start with a thirty-minute session, led by Anna from Sports Basement, that will cover the ABCs of bike mechanics including how to change a tire, how to check your brakes, and how to lube and check your chain. This will be followed with a Q+A, so come ready with questions! They'll round out the hour with some discussion about the basic gear you need on the road with examples: helmets, lights, lock, and a basic repair kit.
Sports Basement will provide some basic bike mechanic kits for purchase before the workshop in case this is something you might need.
Anna Guzman is a 2x Santa Cruz Triathlon Champion, 2x Ironman 70.3 age group Champion, 2x Ironman 70.3 World Champion Qualifier, 3x ironman finisher, 3x All American and Assistant General Manager- Sunnyvale.
