FRANCOFEST, the francophone festival of music and art will be held virtually on March, Saturday 6th, presented by AFRoS in partnership with the Fernie Chamber of Commerce and the Griz Days event in Fernie. AFRoS would like to thank you HERITAGE Canada for their financial support, and without them this festival would not happen.

You will be able to watch virtually 2 shows of 45 minutes each, designed for families and kids. As well as 2 music and dance concerts of 45 minutes each for all public. Just connect to their Facebook page.

This is what they will be presenting:
At 11.00 AM, MADAME DIVA, a francophone artist from Manitoba invites you in her colorfull world and captiv music.

At 12.00 PM, ISABELLE LA WONDERFULL, this Franco-albertan multidisciplinary artist sows joy and good humor for the young and old public. Exuberant and pro improviser, she is also a magician, comedian, songer and sculptor of biodegradable balloons. Flamboyant and colorfull, her shows are always unique, bespoke, hilarious and sometimes squeaky.

Then at 5.00PM Ottawa-based hip-hop sensation, LeFLOFRANCO brings to the table a sound high in energy mixed with heartfelt lyrical content. Striving to push Hip-Hop’s sound towards new heights, he refers to his unique sound as multicolored urban pop.

Finally, at 6.00 PM, from the West Coast of British Columbia, JOCELYN PETTIT is a vibrant fiddle player, stepdancer, and singer. With grace and passion, she offers an uplifting andengaging performance of traditional and original music, inspired by the Celtic and folkcultures of Canada (Québec, Cape Breton), Scotland, Ireland, Brittany, and Galicia.
