DEMONSTRATING ARTIST | DONNA MILLER
Donna Miller lives and paints in Fernie, British Columbia. which lies in the Elk Valley. Although Donna is a self-taught artist, she has participated in many workshops given by both professional and amateur artists. Because of the diversity of these instructors, Donna has dabbled in many mediums such as fabric, oil, watercolour, alcohol inks with acrylic being her favourite. She is also a member of the Arts Station which houses a Visual Arts Guild and a Quilt Guild. Donna has been part of several local art exhibits and art banners. When not painting or quilting, she enjoys biking, golfing and hiking, and planning for the next artistic opportunity.

OUR POP-UP EXHIBIT SERIES
The Fernie Museum’s pop-up exhibits allow local artists to showcase and sell their work, while providing exhibiting artists an opportunity to demonstrate their practice and engage with visitors, making their accessible to more potential patrons. They are one month in duration and are scheduled for fall and spring annually.
