SkiErg World Sprints

The SkiErg Sprints is an annual virtual race that allows you to compare your 1k time against others worldwide in a one-weekend showdown of SkiErg speed. There are age categories from 12 and under to 80+ as well as adaptive classes. This event is for everyone!

The Fernie Nordic Racers would like to ask our Nordic community to come out and give it a try!
If we can submit 30 or more individual results from this event, we will be entered in a raffle for a new SkiErg for our Race Team!
We don't need elite athletic performances, PARTICIPATION is all we are asking for!
You do not need to have Nordic ski skills. All you have to do is complete a 1000 meter distance on the SkiErg.

Come up the the Elk Valley Nordic Centre warming hut any time during the event hours to give it a try!
Bring/Wear:
-Indoor gym/running shoes
-Clothing for movement!
-Water/snacks

The 1000 meters should take 4-10 minutes depending on how fast you're 'skiing'. Bring some friends and cheer each other on!
