It's a great opportunity for outdoor guides, Fernie BC representatives, volunteers, hospitality and outdoor enthusiasts from industry outfitters, sport rental shops, hospitality industry staff/volunteers and community members interested in outdoor safety, incident prevention and how to increase awareness about the AdventureSmart messages.

Increasing awareness about outdoor recreation safety, personal preparedness and search and rescue prevention are topics discussed, amongst consistent AdventureSmart messaging, community outreach and target marketing.

This awareness training helps us reduce incidents for the local Fernie Search and Rescue group and reducing the number and severity of incidents in the East Kootenays region.
