Fairy Creek Falls & Flora Hike w/ Terry Nelson

Join Terry Nelson, author of the recently published book, Fernie Area Hiking Guide and Natural Plant Compendium on a hosted plant identification interpretive hike. Learn about many of the native plants along the Fairy Creek Falls Trail as it passes through a variety of ecological zones.

The hike will leave from the Fernie Tourist Info/Chamber of Commerce Centre at 10:00 am and follow the Fairy Creek Falls trail. The four hour outing will provide opportunities to see, smell, feel, and discover many of the regions indigenous plants. The hosted hike is a relatively easy walk, and will take place rain or shine. Good walking shoes, suitable clothing, sunscreen or proper protection, and a light lunch are required.
