The Swan Lake Experience: A Magical Dance Event for Children Ages 4-10. December 1st and 2nd, 2018 at the Fernie Arts Station Theatre.

We are back with another one of our signature holiday events just for children! This magical and memorable event will have your little ballerina performing right alongside our Senior Company dancers in a Gala performance of Swan Lake!

Each little ballerina will get a professional dance costume, tiara and the chance to let her star shine as she performs live in a special Swan Lake performance. The event includes a workshop where young dancers will learn a beautiful and fun dance routine, have an opportunity to learn about the enchanting story of Swan Lake and take part in the special magic of the ballet.

Schedule
Saturday 2:00-4:00: Little Ballerinas arrive: Your child is greeted with her own diamond tiara and treated like Royalty from the minute she walks in the door! From there she will have fun with friends, immersed in the art form of dance while she is mentored by our Senior Company Dancers. During the interactive workshop, she will learn a routine that she will perform in the Swan Lake production. This will be "no stress and all fun" as we work to ensure each young dancer is challenged, inspired and engaged but not overwhelmed.

Sunday: 2:00-3:00: It's Show Time! This is a chance for your child to let her star shine as she performs in full costume in the dance performance of Swan Lake alongside our Senior Company Dancers. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Get those cameras ready!

Swan Lake Childrens' Event package includes:

• An afternoon dance workshop and a matinee performance 
• An opportunity to perform in Swan Lake 
• A beautiful professional dance costume and tutu for dancers to keep

• 2 tickets to the Swan Lake performance for parents (additional tickets available for purchase through the Arts Station $10 general admittance)

All levels of experience are welcome from beginners to advanced dancers.
