Between the Tape Cross Camp

Taking place on August 11th and 12th the weekend will be an introduction to cyclocross racing covering bike setup, skills and technique required to race cyclocross. Cross is a super fun and exciting discipline, testing all aspects of bike racing, cross racers are the most rounded of all bike riders. This is the perfect way to finish your season with racing mostly taking place from September to November. Alberta Bicycle Association run a fun and competitive race series, with races also happening below the border as well.
A specific cross bike is advised but not required, light weight mountain bike or wider tired road bike with grippy tires are both perfectly fine. A 160mm travel endruo rig will maybe hinder your experience…
The weekend will be fast paced with lots of time spent riding, a certain level of fitness is required to make the most of the weekend but this is still an introduction to cross program. A minimum age of 14 is required.
