This program provides a supportive environment for kids to express themselves while learning new art applications. This youth program has guest teachers each week to help teach the kids different art mediums and leave with a finished product! Terrariums, Digital Art, Mosaics and more!
Expressing opinions, developing ideas and planning to take action in their communities: these are some of the ways that youth will be inspired at the Basin Youth Network Leadership Summit, taking place in Kimberley from May 12 to 14, 2023. Youth aged 14 to 18 are invited to apply now to this unique, free opportunity, hosted by Columbia Basin Trust.
Intended to be a call to action, Hope in the Darkness provides an opportunity for communities to join together for the wellbeing, strong identities and healthy lives of young people. With support from across the country, Hope in the Darkness works with schools, youth groups, Indigenous communities, mental health services and families.
Join the Fernie Youth Action Network for a fun and friendly game of bocce (that’s just a fancy Italian word for lawn bowling!) and then cool down with some yummy Italian inspired treats and Italian Sodas while you lounge in the park and visit with friends. (Practicing Safe Social Distancing)

Youth aged 14 to 18 from around the Columbia Basin are invited to apply to attend the Leadership Summit in Kimberley on May 4 to 6, 2018 where they will strengthen their abilities, learn about themselves and their communities, and have fun!
Join The Arts Station for a fun filled theater games night! Whether you have never before done any theater or are a seasoned performer this is a great opportunity to have fun, build confidence, stretch your imagination and make new friends! Theater games benefits are physical, emotional, social, and they help to develop a healthy appreciation of culture and the arts.
