The workshop will be hosted on September 14th from 9am to 4pm. Register at College of the Rockies - the workshop is being subsidized and now will be FREE for Elk Valley residents!
This beginner-oriented workshop will cover the basics of caring for and maintaining your mountain bike. Our expert technicians will cover basics like:
- trailside repairs
- proper cleaning techniques
- suspension set up
- tire pressure

Join creative artist Lesley Graham for a simple lantern-building workshop where you will create and decorate a lantern that you can take home.
This is a drop-in event that is free with Museum Admission. Activity is suitable for children with some dexterity, and will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Join at the Fernie Aquatic Center (at the Gazebo) before the weekly Fernie Women on Wheels (FWOW) Ladies Ride for a 'Get to Know Your Bike' workshop held by Cindy Sleeman of Straight Line Bike & Ski.
You will learn how to change a tire, adjust the shocks, adjust the seat so it's right for you! And anything else bike related. Come with questions and ready to go for a ride afterwards! All abilities welcome.*
