The Arts Station believe life drawing should be fun, accessible, and expressive. Join us for life drawing with a nude model. 

The cost is $15 and includes basic materials. Additional materials/tools are encouraged to bring if you have them. Drinks can be purchased during the workshop!

Join Caroline in a glazing demo showing how to achieve colour variation using our studio glazes! 

She will also be going over glazing techniques and thickness to optimize success! This event is meant to help deepen our pottery studio member's understanding of the glazing process as well as minimize failure at the final stage. 

This event will be held in the theatre and proof of vaccination will be checked. Hope to see you there!

Wine and wheel is a casual event taking place on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm. It is an introduction to throwing on the wheel along with some hand building techniques. Price includes clay and a glass of wine. This event is perfect for anyone wanting an introduction into clay or just a casual evening out with a creative twist!

Join the Arts Station in the theatre for a fun mug painting workshop with out pottery tech Caroline!

Caroline has hand thrown mug bodies that have been bisque fired and are ready to decorate! All mugs will be functional and safe for use after their final firing. We will have a wide array of different colors for decorating and painting illustrations, landscapes stencils and textures on to your mug.

In this two hour workshop learn some tips and tricks on how to create a captivating Artist video. 

This class will be taught by James Hillman!

Proof of vaccination is required and masks are mandatory. 

James is a filmmaker, photographer, mountain sports athlete and passionate storyteller who uses cinematic adventure style film making to inspire both the protagonist and the viewer.

In this workshop learn how to photograph your artwork so it is gallery ready! 

This is a two hour workshop that will give you tips and tricks for basic photography, points on lighting and positioning! 

If you have a camera bring it! but it is not required.

*Multi-week activity taking place on October and 24th and November 8th*

Have your kids join our instructor Caroline in a fun afterschool clay workshop for kids age 8-12! In the first this week kids will learn the basics of making pinch pots and handbuilding and then in the following class they will get to paint their creations. Their pieces will be fired so that they can be used and taken home. This is a multi-week workshop, meaning that it will be held on the 24th and the 8th. This gives us enough time to have the pieces fired and ready for decorating!

Join the Arts Station Pottery Technician Caroline in a month long intensive workshop aimed to teach the basics of throwing. This workshop is for those who want to begin their journey in ceramics and will be significantly more technical than other workshops offered. Caroline has numerous years working with clay under her belt and graduated from ceramic arts school.

This is open to anyone to attend but aimed at emerging artists who are looking to take the next steps. This course is designed to help apply for exhibits and suggested before applying to the Arts Station Gallery which will currently open for 2022.
