Celebrate 20 Years of Green Living at the EcoGarden Picnic! Wildsight Elk Valley are delighted to announce that the EcoGarden, our beloved community haven for sustainable living and local food, is turning 20! It’s been two decades of growth, learning, and fostering a sense of togetherness.

Join them for an evening of joy and celebration as they mark this momentous occasion on a picnic gathering like no other. This event promises to be a heartwarming blend of delicious food, local produce and the cherished memories we’ve created over the years.

Little Sprouts takes place at the Community EcoGarden on Tuesday's in Fernie in July and August.

Come join Wildsight Elk Valley for this free program for children ages 0-6 and their parents/caregivers. Adults must sign a waiver to participate and stay within arms reach of their children throughout the program.

With the largest civic observance in the world, Earth Day attracts over 1 billion people yearly who are dedicated to furthering climate action. The Fernie Heritage Library (FHL) are some of those people.

For two years running FHL have fulfilled the goal of building an eyesore of trash in their parking lot, with help from our climate conscious community! This year they're back at it with support from Elk Valley Wildsight, Fernie Home Hardware, Teck, and Patti's Party Rentals.

The Community Yard Sale is back for 2022! 

Shop for treasures across Fernie with garage, lawn, tailgate, and sidewalk sales all across town.
