Tourism Fernie

We all love to explore the outdoors! See how Fernie takes care of the WILD with this cool award-winning program in Episode 06 of This is Fernie! Vlog Series. This is Fernie! Local host Sadie Rosgen shares all the reasons why she loves Fernie as she take you behind the scenes, shows you cool places, great things to do, unique stories and people, all in a fun, and inspiring way!

Tourism Fernie gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Province of British Columbia through the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport towards its AmbassadorWILD Program and additional regional sustainable tourism initiatives.

We know you've been waiting to ride Fernie's epic trail network! It's time to get back to what you love - mountain biking!

With an extensive and ever-growing number of trails everyone can find their perfect ride (or two) in Fernie; most you can access right from town.

The Heritage Walking Tour of Downtown Fernie begins at The Arts Station and follows a loop past some of Fernie’s most beautiful and significant architecture to finish at 901 Fernie, a faithful recreation of the former Fernie Secondary School which stood on the same spot. Pick up a copy of the walking tour at the Fernie Museum, Visitor Information Centre, or find it online at tourismfernie.com/history/historic-downtown.

On June 24th, Permier John Horgan and BC's Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, announced the onset of Phase 3 of the COVID-19 Restart Plan. Fernie welcomes visitors, but with trip planning and safety in mind. While Fernie has worked hard to reopen and is excited to welcome visitors back, it is important to plan ahead and keep safety in mind.
