Times have certainly changed in Fernie. Ten years ago, if you wanted to upgrade your couch, it involved a trip to the City. The choice in town was minimal, and the chances of you finding 'The One' was pretty much non-existent. These days, we're lucky.

For the Love of Christmas

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Em freaking loves Christmas. It is so magical. One of her absolute favourite things to do is walk along 2nd Ave in the evening. The stores are open a little later (thank you late night shopping), the sky is the dark and moody blue that only happens in the middle of winter, the lights adorning the trees are ambient and warm, the snow glistens, and her heart swells with love for this town.

Leah Bodie

Wild Child Sewing came about from Leah's personal need for clothing for her daughter that was unique, of great quality, and a reflection of her lifestyle here in Fernie. She wanted clothing that was going to fit her and last her longer than the clothing Leah was finding in department stores or online.
