Teck Resources Limited (TSX: TECK.A and TECK.B, NYSE: TECK) (“Teck”) and the Ktunaxa Regional Health Centre today announced a partnership to install antimicrobial copper on high touch, high-traffic surfaces in the new facility. These surfaces can effectively eliminate up to 99.9% of bacteria within two hours of contact, and help protect the health of patients, health workers, and visitors.

Over the last 16 or so years, I’ve written a few columns about good password practices. Logging in to web services with an email address and password has become ubiquitous and good passwords are still key (please don’t reuse them) but I haven’t mentioned the email address side.

The current global health challenge is likely to increase further the numbers of people looking for socially-distanced recreation in the wilderness.

It's that time of year again! Celebrate community safety and emergency preparedness. There will be Music by Naena Robinson, DJs, Bounce house, Games, Rescue demonstrations as well as prizes and giveaways for the whole family to enjoy.

They will have a BBQ by donation with all proceeds going towards the British Columbia fire appeal.

Bear safety education is fairly involved but there are two simple things you can do to increase your odds of avoiding or surviving a bear encounter. That is: keep your dog on leash and carry bear spray and know how to use it.
