Fernie Food Action Strategy
communityenergy.ca/projects/foodaction/

The Fernie Food Action Strategy is committed to identifying opportunities to improve access to local food in the City of Fernie and surrounding areas. This survey provides an opportunity for you to share your experience, successes and challenges with local food access, growing, and processing. The information from the survey will be used as a first step in developing strategies to address community food resiliency.

Fernie is hosting the second annual Elk Valley Snow Avalanche Workshop (EVSAW) this november, get the results from the Fernie Junior Tennis Tournament and Kim Genovese Yoga is excited to offer Senior Yoga and Chair Yoga Advanced Training at Essential Yoga Studio.

This September 7, Keegan Street of Rooftop Coffee Roasters, a specialty small-batch coffee roasting company located in Fernie, BC, entered the BC Regional Aeropress Championships in Vancouver. His only goal - not to embarrass himself. The field was competitive, with some big names in the industry. The result - he won and is now heading to Toronto (all expenses paid) to compete at the Nationals.

We wanted to learn more about the competition so we got in touch with Keegan with a few questions!
