To comply with COVID-19 requirements and to keep vulnerable community members safe, the parade will be by vehicle this year, and both the parade and service are by invitation only.

In a change to usual practice, the service will be held at the Cemetary Cenotaph this year instead of at the Cenotaph at the Courthouse. Wreaths will be laid on the graves of fallen soldiers. 

Legion Members are welcome at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #36 from 10:45am - 3pm to watch the Livestream.

This year marks 100 years since the end of World War 1. Please join us at the Legion to remember the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. It is a day we encourage every individual, young and old, to pause, to give thanks and to remember.

Members and guests are welcome. This is also the one day of the year that children are allowed to be in the Legion.

10:40 am Parade to the Cenotaph - Legion Members, RCMP, 1st Responders, 3300 Club, City of Fernie, Cadets etc.

10:55 am Cenotaph service begins.

11:00 am 2-minute silence.
