The West is the brain child of Chris Metcs and Tyler Weidman from Calgary, AB. Their combination of Blues/Rock and Country has become synonymous with their sound, a sound that has been developing over the course of 6 years playing under their previous name "Outlets Band." With two albums and hundreds of shows under their belt, The West is pushing the boundaries of the conventional rock band into a sound that is uniquely their own.

Fernie Olympics was a huge success, so we will battle again for glory, however this time, teams will battle in our version of the 'feats of strength' for this years Festivus Party! 8 teams, 5 events, with the winning team getting a trophy and $100 bar tab.

It's teams of 6, so the first 8 teams of 6 to contact me (Caleb Bate) for a team will participate in front of Fernie. First in first served. Every person may only play in 1 event, must be at least 1 female. 

Live Music Fridays this fall in the Pub and enjoy a live acoustic performance from our super staff member Jeff Steiert, aka J-Skillz.

Fridays also feature The Pub's $12 Fish & Chips Special plus 1516 pints for $6.50. No cover, entertainment runs from 7pm onwards.
