Fernie Pets Society presents the 2nd Annual Santa Pet Photos fundraiser at Canadian Tire! Raising funds for the Railyard Dog Park and the Elk Valley Spay and Neuter Incentive Program - SNIP.

Photo sessions will take place one at a time in the waiting room of the automotive area, allowing us to separate the entrance & the exit, and avoiding distractions in between pets. Please enter through the doors by the Mark's Work Wearhouse. Keep your pet secured on a leash or in a carrier and ensure that your dog has relieved him/herself before entering.

Wanderlust is a series of photographs, a collection of visual stories, from three adventures across oceans in less than a year. The exhibit features the remotely wild lands of Iceland, the warm beaches and forests of Australia, and the vibrant, pink-flowered, whitewashed alleys of Greece.

Local photographers Todd and Martina share what drives their adventures abroad.

Twenty eight years ago I announced my intention to the world that I was going to be a freelance photographer by registering my photography business. I must admit, it’s been a wild ride ever since. I got the idea, after a two-year stint as a ski bum in Europe, when I saw an article in Photo Life magazine by Canadian adventurer/photographer Pat Morrow, on hang-gliding photography. I thought, if Pat can get an article published in a national photo magazine on such an obscure subject, surely I could do the same on ski photography based on my experience in Europe.
