Grab your retro mountain bike and relive it’s glory years by racing it down Deer Trail. Bikes must pre year 2000 and have working brakes (please note that organizers reserve the right to disallow bikes that they deem unsafe).
On Sunday, July 8th , Fernie Alpine Resort will say ‘Thank You’ to our local communities by offering a FREE lift access to the residents of Fernie, Elko, Elkford, Jaffray, Sparwood and all residents living in the Elk Valley, as part of the annual Community Appreciation Day.
Trail Razr III is going to be just as much fun (if not more) and they hope they can BEAT the $22,000 that they made in 2017. All funds go to the Fernie Trails Alliance and are used to build and maintain our amazing trail network.
Our trails do not build themselves. It is only because of our strong community of passionate volunteers and contractors that we have the amazing trail network we have in Fernie.
Mountain biking has grown exponentially over the last few years, especially with the increase of events taking place in Fernie. Fortunately the Fernie Trails Alliance keeps our network up to speed, maintaining and building all summer long to keep this recreational activity at its best!
The number of summer activities is on the rise in this beautiful Valley, drawing numerous people to our community with a substantial increase in summer tourism year after year.
