Makey Makey is a fun, interactive mix of crafts, engineering, and science for kids. Each week children aged 7-10 will have an opportunity to create, build, or perform experiments. This program is delivered on Zoom and all supplies (plus a snack) are provided.
Registration is through Eventbrite, registered children must have a current Fernie Heritage Library card and a signed waiver. Maximum 8 participants.
Each January, families, schools, libraries and communities across BC celebrate Family Literacy Week.
In 2022, Family Literacy Week will be celebrated January 23rd to 30th!
Each day during Family Literacy Week the Fernie Heritage Library will be providing a fun literacy-based activity for families to do together. Keep an eye on their social media for more information.
