Nomad filmmaker Haru from South Korea is bringing her music-documentary film to Fernie! In the movie, we follow a multinational street band Mombé on their musical adventure in Europe. It’s hard not to become happy listening to the playful rhythms that permeate the whole documentary.

Summer is in full swing and Infinitea is celebrating with a tour! Come watch Sophie D'Orléans, lead singer from The Sophistocrats and Tenise Marie perform solo sets!

Sophie D’Orléans
Sophie grew up in Chapel Hill, a suburb of Ottawa. After studying social work, anthropology and travelling all over South America, she spent three years in Nelson, BC, studying music. Since 2016, she's been the songwriter, lead singer and keyboardist of The Sophistocrats. This is her first tour as a solo act and she’s added French songs to her set!

Tyler Bartfai is a singer-songwriter from coastal Powell River B.C. His writing is influenced by a variety of genres including blues, roots, folk, and pop. Specifically, from artists such as Eric Clapton, JJ Cale, John Mayer, and Bob Dylan. His emotionally driven lyrics draw on many of life's relatable ebbs and flows. Tyler Bartfai and The Stowaways have just finished a live off the floor EP and video session 'The Score is Posted'. They hope to start a full studio album later this year.

Two globe trotting singer/songwriters (Daughter of The Moon & Michael Averill) come together for the first time to jointly perform at Infinitea T-Bar this coming Friday, July 20th, at 8pm. 

Daughter of the Moon is a dream/folk songstress who moves around the world with her guitar, turning her experiences into songs. Her live performance of voice & acoustic guitar have been described as haunting, yet healing and her songs, sweet and melancholic. Her sound is inspired by the likes of Mazzy Star, Norah Jones & Aldous Harding.
