February is an iconic symbol of love. This evening’s gathering is designed to create the conditions for awakening and refining your awareness of the world within you to create momentum and inspiration to co-create with the world around you. This practice will tap into the energy body through intelligent sequencing and cueing. A combination of dynamic physical postures, Kundalini breath work, contemplation and meditation. Included as always doTERRA essential oils to support our journey together.

My son was born just shy of Valentine’s Day. The first article of clothing to adorn his body was a red knitted toque with a white heart on it, donated to the hospital by caring volunteers. His first experience of the world, besides utter shock I assume, was one of love. Warm, soft and cozy love.

As one year ends and another begins, many of us are inspired to take stock of the our lives and the year that has come to a close and resolve to make some changes come January 1st. This year is even more interesting as to some, it is the end of one decade and the beginning of another, so it is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the last ten years of your life and set some goals for the month, year, and decade to come.

It’s January and that means many of us are starting off the New Year with the #FernieStreak. What is the Fernie Streak? It’s about setting the goal to do thirty minutes of self-propelled activity outdoors with intention for as many days in January as possible. For all you activity enthusiasts out there, this challenge is going to be right up your alley as we welcome another fun-filled year in Fernie.

Setting goals is one thing, but making a plan to follow through is next level. This is what makes a streak so exceptional. A streak can be partnered with a New Year’s resolution or a word of the year, and make either one more powerful.

If there’s one thing everyone living in Fernie can agree on it’s that we’re all so lucky to call this place home! Especially if you’re an adopted dog like Gus and London, who hit the jackpot in finding humans who choose to live here.

December is such an action-packed month, whether you are celebrating Hanukkah, Christmas, Winter Solstice, or none of the above. It is so easy to get swept up in the energy of the season and before you know it, find yourself fighting off one virus after another and winding up spending your cherished holidays bundled up in bed instead of enjoying your family and friends.
