Lancelot has his sword, Thor has his hammer, Skywalker has his Lightsaber and The Griz has his…….Bull Horn!?! Join the Fernie Youth Players on the Main Stage as they tell the origin story of our beloved Griz through story, song and dance.

Hosted by the Elk Valley Gymnastic Club The Training Ground is just the place to test your mettle. A full range of challenges and activities for youth of all ages will be set up along 2nd Avenue for the afternoon. Incentives will be awarded for tackling the Training Ground course. Griz Days: Snow Sculpture Creation

The Griz created from a block of snow. Snow Sculpture artists Peter Vogelaar and Lesley Mayfield, internationally recognized snow sculptors from the Slocan Valley, will be on main street creating our winter mascot out of snow.

Griz Days: Afternoon Grizzly Curling
