Kim Larsen, landscape gardener and all-around plant enthusiast is the new owner at The Green Petal in Fernie.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Em freaking loves Christmas. It is so magical. One of her absolute favourite things to do is walk along 2nd Ave in the evening. The stores are open a little later (thank you late night shopping), the sky is the dark and moody blue that only happens in the middle of winter, the lights adorning the trees are ambient and warm, the snow glistens, and her heart swells with love for this town.

These days, you don’t have to look too far to find eco-friendly clothing, especially in our neck of the woods. We’re lucky to live in an area that has forward thinkers, business owners that are taking the initiative to carry brands that are making some serious changes in the world.

It’s Sunday and the thought of a slow morning is too good to pass up. Sunday’s are Em's day. In the spirit of ‘Awakening,’ she's going to take you on a morning journey of self-care with a few suggestions to help you relax and enjoy every moment.
