Each practice is focused on sensing and uncovering one of the 5 layers of the body from which to explore and journey. Once the body is prepped into relaxation and stillness Yoga Nidra will finish and potentially lead you to your innermost being.

Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice of guiding one's own awareness through the gross to the subtle bodies of experience to eventually rest fully awakened in the impersonal stream of unbounded consciousness.

One of the primary objectives of the Pilates method is increasing adaptability – the body’s ability to adjust and respond to challenges that it meets; a skill that comes in handy when cruising down the mountainside on your mode of choice. 

Sometimes, when the snow flies covering the Valley in a blanket of white, fluffy powder, instead of heading to the hill with the masses, a solo walk meandering in the trees is just what you need. Here are three of my three favourite places to “get lost” in winter.

An introductory look at learning to meditate. When quiet our minds we find a peace that is effective and long term. When we stop looking outside of ourselves to find inner peace, when we stop thinking its going to be the next relationship, the next job, the next purchase that’s going to make us happy, we start looking within to seek solace.

During this session we will learn not to try to silence a mind that wants to go in a hundred different directions simultaneously, but rather how to sit with and not attach to this chaos.

The sun is shining, small plants are creeping out of the ground, and Wayne is ready to get his healthy lifestyle back on track. After chatting with friends at his local gym, Wayne decides to give the Whole 30 a try.
