10 years ago, inspired by the popularity of the Indie Films Fernie monthly screenings, a dedicated group of volunteers decided to plan a festival dedicated to the talent, skill and diversity of the Canadian Film Industry.

This Christmas, the Arts Station is brings an encore screening of the Royal Ballet’s festival favourite, The Nutcracker by Peter Wright, direct from the Royal Opera House, London.

This beautiful ballet enthrals with snowflakes, the land of sweets and sensational dancing. A wonderful night out for all the family, we encourage children to come dressed as their own fairy prince/ss, ballet dancer, evil magician, magical toy or mouse! Magical wands, sweets and toys all welcome too!

Prepare yourself once again this season for the return of Fernie Alpine Resorts’ Kokanee Snow Dreams. 

Traditionally, the Griz rewards our celebration of winter with fresh snow, serving up an all you can eat Powder Buffet. After you’ve tackled the slopes join us for an Ice Cold Kokanee in the Griz Bar while listening to our live DJ. The party continues all night in the legendary Griz Bar, where the most unspeakable of Après activities have been witnessed on more than one occasion. Don’t miss out on the Kokanee Snow Dreams 2018 this season!

Every winter the Mogul Smoker is the last bush party the year. It is an old Fernie tradition in praise of the snow god Griz in hopes for a winter full of snow. 

Shuttle tickets are on sale at GearHub in Fernie! 

There are 250 Tier 1 Tickets.
Tier 1 shuttle tickets are $20. 
There are 250 Tier 2 tickets
Tier 2 shuttle tickets are $25.

Tickets (if) available at the Royal the night of the party are $30. Shuttles Leave from and Drop off at the Royal. Party Location is private property and will not be released.
