Fernie Snowmobile Association Firewood WorkB & Film Night

The Fernie Snowmobile Association are starting the day off with a Firewood WorkB event to stock the cabins with wood for the winter.

Volunteers receive a $25 credit towards their membership or day passes AND a complimentary ticket to the Film Night and BBQ event in the evening.

Meet at the Coal Creek Staging Area.

Ladies Day & Polaris Demo Days

The Fernie Snowmobile Assocation will be accepting donations at the trailhead for the Salvation Army of new toiletries (shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant...) and diapers/baby wipes.

Ladies Trail Ride: All abilities welcome. Departing Coal Creek staging area at 10am. You will enjoy a casual cruise and social around the FSA Coal Creek and Morrissey trail network with stops at the Rolling Hills Cabin for BBQ and the Wranglers Cabin as well as some opportunities to dip off the trail and play.

Bob Arnott Memorial Family Ride & BBQ

Join the Fernie Snowmobile Association on Wednesday, December 28th as they ride in Memorial of past FSA President Bob Arnott and all sledders who, through the years, may not have made it home at the end of their day.

This family-friendly event will depart the Coal Creek Staging Area at 10am. We will ride as a group to the Rolling Hills Cabin for a BBQ, snacks, and moment of silence to recognize our fallen friends.

Corbin Vintage Ride

FSA Avalanche Awareness & Demo Day

The Avalanche Canada South Rockies Field Team, Fernie Search and Rescue and local Sled Avalanche Education Pro’s Elk Valley Snow Shepherds will be on site with free training, safety demos, prize giveaways, BBQ lunch and more!

The Changing Face of Snowmobiling

Ten months had passed since my snowmobile last saw daylight. But there I was, two hours back in the saddle weaving through a delicious technical treeline. Gluttonously feasting on a classic Fernie powder buffet. Stoked to be back at the table.

Sloth Poker Rally - Dirty Dangles Style
