Get together with your pals (or make some new ones!) for a fun afternoon of adventure, photography, and games! The day ends with awesome snacks and gourmet hot chocolate for everyone!

This program is free, open to boys and those identifying as boys between 12-16 years old, and will be held in the Fernie Teen Program Space as well as outdoors. If you are interested in this program and would like to be put on the wait list please register here.

With the largest civic observance in the world, Earth Day attracts over 1 billion people yearly who are dedicated to furthering climate action. At the Fernie Heritage Library they are some of those people. This year they are partnering with Wildsight, with help from Fernie Home Hardware and the Fernie Fix for a (COVID-19 responsible) Pick Up For A Plant And Our Planet clean up day on Saturday April 24th.

This month The Fernie Heritage Library is putting together a special cozy pack and Zoom session for International Women's Day.

This year's theme of IWD is 'Choose To Challenge', and encourages everyone to speak up against gender bias to help better our understanding and implementation of equity. With this in mind, it's important to take time for reflection and self care. This month their Keep Calm and Stay Cozy kits and Zoom session will focus on the practice of mindfulness.
