Fernie Chamber of Commerce

The New Year is here, resolutions have been made and 2018 is our year. It is time to be effective. There is nothing more satisfying than finishing a day of work and knowing you got things done.

How does a business manage the requests for time off while keeping the doors open and the customers happy? Here are a few strategies to look at to make the most for everyone this holiday season.

Visitors from around the world come to visit Fernie, BC each winter to ski, snowshoe, snowboard, snowmobile, catski or simply enjoy the relaxing vibe in the historic downtown. Local businesses take pride in offering quality service to their guests.

Both visitors and locals will see a new local ski shuttle bus on the roads for this coming ski season thanks to a partnership between the City of Fernie, Tourism Fernie, the Fernie Chamber of Commerce and Resorts of the Canadian Rockies.

Once a month, a Fernie Chamber member opens up their business to host the business, banter, and beers event. This month Dave Hozjan of Elk River Homes words were a testament to the value of shopping local and the variety of products and services offered locally.
