Fernie Brewing Company (FBC), BC’s most easterly brewery, is excited to announce the upcoming release of their new Kootenay Collaborative Brew – “Powder Hwy Dark Saison”. Powder Hwy was brewed in partnership with Nelson Brewing Co., Mt. Begbie Brewing Co. and Whitetooth Brewing Co.

One thing you should be prepared for during your time here is to continually be pleasantly surprised. By the effortless champagne powder. And last but most certainly not least, by the calibre of the culinary experiences and locally-produced libations on offer.

Java's back! But not how you know him..

Returning this fall is our ever popular winter seasonal, Java the Hut Coffee Milk Stout, back in 473mL cans.

With a rich infusion of roasted Crowsnest Coffee, this creamy Stout is a truly satisfying brew, any time of day. The popular and local Crowsnest Coffee Roasters, supplies our blend of coffee beans for this popular FBC brew.

These are added to the mash, along with a decadent amount of Chocolate, Roasted and Black Malts. Add a touch of lactose powder, and you get a stout with amazing flavours and dreamy smoothness.

Named after a local Fernie legend, Ghostrider is our classic Brown Ale, brewed with pumpkin, spice and all things nice.

Still the same award-winning Pumpkin Brown Ale, this brew stems from our legendary First Trax Brown Ale, while pumpkins, cinnamon, nutmeg and numerous spices are added to the mix to bring you the perfect sip of fall. Unfiltered to keep the real pumpkin taste alive.

It's that time again, the Nighthawk Farmhouse IPA is back but in a new 473 mL 4-pack!

The latest release in the Rotating IPA Series, Nighthawk is launching this Thursday, March 28th in the Tasting Room. Their Farmhouse IPA is low in bitterness, but heavily dry hopped with Sorachi Ace and Hallertau Blanc. Sorachi Ace has a distinct lemon flavour, and Hallertau Blanc has strong notes of citrus and passion fruit, similar to an Australian variety. For IPA lovers our latest release offers a chance to try some unique hop varieties in this Farmhouse IPA.
