Join local creative and all-around fantastic person, Rivka Landsberg, at The Arts Station on Friday, September 22nd at 3pm for an afternoon of skateboard deck painting in preparation for the Wheelie Out Skate Jam! This event is free and is for those aged 12-18. Limited to 18 people. Registration includes skateboard deck, paint, and pizza. Just bring your ideas, creativity, and fabulous selves!
If you wish to ride your skateboard upon completion, please note that wheels and bearings are not included - just the deck!
Out of the Box Dumpster Project is a public art initiative by FDAC collaboration with GFL Environmental. Commercial trash and recycling dumpsters will be transformed into works of public art by regional artists. Artists will paint their dumpsters from August 18th - 23rd in Station Square! Swing by to check out the work, meet the artists and enjoy the sunshine!

Join host Chris Walker for a live taping of Daybreak, the popular CBC morning show in the Okanagan and Kootenays! The show will feature live local interviews and a Q&A session with Chris. The shows are free and first come first serve. Doors at 6:30 pm, show begins at 7 pm.
Join Pru Harshan for a fun parent and child painting workshop. This a great opportunity for quality time and new experience with your child. No experience is needed and all materials are provided. You will leave with a duo parent/child painting which Pru will lead you through step by step.

This program provides a supportive environment for kids to express themselves while learning new art applications. This youth program has guest teachers each week to help teach the kids different art mediums and leave with a finished product! Pottery, painting, printing and much more!

Each week you will be focusing on a different medium, with demos and facilitation led by experts in each respective medium. While learning and creating enjoy a glass of wine to spice up the night! This is the perfect chance to learn something new or develop your skills with other like-minded people. Art in the Eve takes place In The Arts Station Theatre.
The cost is $20 and includes basic materials and a glass of wine! Additional materials/tools are encouraged to bring if you have them. A second glass of wine can be purchased during the workshop!
