Join us in celebrating with our friends down under for Australia Day at Fernie Alpine Resort. Although we can’t have a party this year, we can still dress up and celebrate in our own bubbles.

PHOTO COMPETITION
This year we are having an Australia Day photo competition! Take a photo of what best represents Australia Day at Fernie Alpine Resort to you and submit it online using our online entry form.

There are some great prizes up for grabs thanks to our partners. You could even win yourself a Helly Hansen Bucket Hat, an Aussie favourite!

Virtual Family Day Photo Scavenger Hunt

This year Fernie Alpine Resort are unable to host their usual holiday craft afternoons. So instead, they are giving out FREE arts and craft packages for guests to take and complete from the comfort of their own home!

Let your imagination run wild and get creative with our winter-themed craft packages. Pick up your package from your hotel reception or guest services. Limited to 1 package per child. Craft packs will be available from December 19 – January 2, 2020

It’s time to get creative! Fernie Alpine Resort are on the lookout for the best snowman builders in Fernie.

Take a picture of your best snow creation and submit it using our online form below. Individuals, families, groups, businesses, are all encouraged to participate. Entrants are encouraged to add their own creative touches that will make their snowman unique. Remember, it doesn’t need to be a traditional snowman, think outside the box, and get creative. Build an animal, a sculpture, your favorite movie character, or anything you can dream up.

Take the family out for some evening turns on the Mighty Moose!

The Mighty Moose lift will be open and the slope lit up from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Ski under the lights and enjoy this fun experience with your family!

Your lift ticket from that day is valid for night skiing, or tickets are available at the Fernie Alpine Resort Rental Shop.

Shred Kelly Christmas Special

CP Holiday Train at Home

This year, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the CP Holiday Train Celebration is moving ONLINE via Facebook Livestream! Mark your calendars and tune in to this awesome show.

​Serena Ryder and The Trews will headline CP's 2020 "Holiday Train at Home" concert, which will stream on CP's Facebook page on Dec. 12. The event will raise money and awareness and help local food banks collect much-needed donations.
