Ski & Photos with Santa

Come enjoy a few laps with Santa and his helpful elf on the hill to celebrate and spread some holiday cheer! Holiday outfits are encouraged!

Santa will be out skiing on the lower mountain from 10am – 12pm. Santa will then be in the daylodge from 12:30pm – 2pm for photos.

Splish Splash Sploosh

The Fernie Heritage Library's fifth annual Splish Splash Sploosh will take place at the Fernie Aquatic Centre Splash Park. Join them for a Book Bike Storytime, fun activities, bubbles, and DJ Jayray on the decks playing music. Everyone is welcome at this Bubble Dance Party!

Canada Day in Fernie

It’s the July 1st Market at the Fernie Aquatic Centre!

Join the City of Fernie and members of Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡi ‘it for a Reconciliation Walk from City Hall to the Aquatic Centre.

A ceremony and Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡI ‘it traditional drumming and dancing will follow on the Aquatic Centre Main Stage.

In the afternoon, enjoy a line-up of local live music, activities for kids, and the Mountain Market on the Aquatic Centre grounds in celebration of Canada Day.

7th Annual Fernie Chautauqua 2022

The 7th Annual Fernie Chautauqua is a celebration of culture, heritage and community. This year's event is centered around the Fernie Museum's new exhibit, 'Women of Michel,' an art installation by four women who were born in the former nearby Mining community.
