The Emily Brydon Youth Foundations launches six-week Community Initiative to raise funds for its Million $ Legacy Fund.

When COVID brought her back home in March, I did my best to take advantage. Over the summer, I observed her getting reacquainted with a town that had developed and changed, just as she had, in the years they had been separated.

Tuesday, December 1, 2020 to Saturday, December 12, 2020

The Emily Brydon Youth Foundation continues to support youth in the Elk Valley pursue their dreams in the arts, education and sports. As the organization, like many others, has not been able to host its popular fundraising events, they are shifting to someting different that will not only help to raise funds for those in need but also create some holiday cheer and fun leading up to the holiday season!

The community of Fernie is fortunate to have a plethora of organizations backed by an army of dedicated volunteers, ensuring this community continues to be at the forefront when it comes to arts, culture, history and recreation, and also offering support to ensure nobody is left behind. This coming weekend, two well-known organizations are hosting unique evenings to raise events for their cause, in a fun and entertaining way.
