The Arts Station believes life drawing should be fun, accessible, and expressive. Join them for life drawing with a nude model.

The cost is $15 and includes basic materials. Additional materials/tools are encouraged to bring if you have them. Drinks can be purchased during the workshop.

Pause in Plight is now on display in the Fernie Museum Gallery. Stop by to view this important exhibition, reflecting on the history of interment in Canada.

Artist Kerri Parnell will be live online to discuss the artwork and this dark period in Canadian History, and to answer questions. Details to follow soon about how to participate in this event.

They encourage participants to visit the Museum to view the exhibit in advance, or explore it in this virtual tour, prepared by the Oseredok Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Centre in Winnipeg:

Spring is springing and who doesn't love a good studio sale!

Clawhammer Press, Sarah Pike Pottery and Passionfruit Pottery are banding together to have a sale at Sarah Pike's Studio (1480 McDonald Ave, Fernie) from 2-5pm on Saturday, May 13th (the day before Mother's Day for the record).

They will all have NEW works there so come and get excited about warmer weather. If the weather is nice you'll stand around outside and share some good chats too.

All ages welcome. Cost is $104 for both mother and child. All materials are supplied. No experience necessary.

Join the Fernie Arts Station for an introductory course to sculpting clay. Clay sculpture is one of the most ancient forms of art dating all the way back to 25000 BC. Their instructor Becky is a student at Glasgow school of the arts in Scotland. She has years of experience moulding, casting and working with clay. She is excited to be sharing her knowledge with you!

This workshop will take place for the whole day on Saturday May 6th from 9:30 - 3:30 with a one hour break for lunch.
