Country music Hall-of-Famer Kenny Hess and his award-winning band will perform some of your favourite country music tunes, including the work of George Jones, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and many more. Featuring special guest opener, Becca Hess, honouring the songs by trailblazing females who wrote and sang some of country music's biggest hits! Kenny Hess was born and raised in Fernie, BC and his concerts are always a true homecoming event.

There are plenty of people who parrot the mountain-town refrain, “Came for winter and stayed for the summer” in these parts. While it doesn’t roll off the tongue as well, it’s also fitting to say, “Came for the outdoor rec and stayed for the culture.”
