Light Up the Arts

The Arts Station is excited to invite you to “Light up the Arts” starting on November 25 at 6pm. Wander downtown to discover magical lighted installations by local artists in a fun and interactive artwalk. Light up the Arts will launch at an annual collaborative community event, the Holiday Kick-off, in partnership with the Fernie Chamber of Commerce and the City of Fernie.

Fernie Ski & Board Film Fest

This is the unofficial launch to the snow season as skiers and boarders gather to celebrate the coming snow season!

Three feature films will be presented on a large format screen with a professional image and dolby sound.

8:00PM – Teton Gravity Research – Magic Hour
9:30PM – Red Bull – Fleeting Time

Everyone attending will receive a 2 for 1 lift ticket voucher to Fernie Alpine Resort!

Fernie Hotel Donates $5000 to Elk River Alliance Summer Camp Programs

Mount Rushka

Did you know that our little town Fernie has an impressive rock ‘n roll legacy? The guitarist from Rush, Alex Lifeson (considered to be one of greatest guitarists of all time), was born right here in Fernie in 1953. Let me introduce you to us, we are called Mount Rushka and we are committed to continuing the legacy of a serious rock n’ roll group also born in Fernie.

Come on Friday November 4th between 6-8pm to drop off your Gear. Each item is $2 to consign. You will receive 75% of the purchase price and 25% goes to FAST. SWAP is Saturday November 5th from 9am-3pm. Get yourself set up for the upcoming season!
