The sight of snow falling is something that I will never get sick of, especially in the Fall. Excitement in the air. The countdown to Fernie Alpine Resort opening has begun. The town is filling with new people, and we’re gearing up for a winter of fun.

Boardstiff Presents: Frozen Mind

Remember in December when they asked if you liked watching free snowboard movies with cheap beer and pizza at a cool venue? They're doing it again! They're teaming up with The Valley Social and everyones favourite Host Couple: Cami & Connor once more to show Nitro Snowboards heavy hitter Victor Dela Rue's new production: Frozen Mind.

They'll also be showing Pulp featuring another Nitro legend: Austin Smith and another movie before the main event. You'll be able to request other movies or you favourite Ja Rule karaoke hits after the main show just like last time.

After the chaos of Last Man Standing Boardstiff brings you a more "sophisticated" evening of snowboard movies and good times. 

​Boardstiff is teaming up those loveable humans at The Valley Social for this one to show the new Arbor Cosa Nostra and the 686 Rabbit Hole movies, sure to get you fired up for the opening day exactly one week later. So come stop by, grab an adult beverage of your choice and get stoked.

20 Winters: Last One Standing at Boardstiff

Boardstiff's celebrating their 20th winter as the longest running boardshop in town! To kick off winter they're bringing back their famous The Last One Standing snowboard giveaway and party. They're looking for 10 people to take part in the chance to win a glorious new snowboard from our good friends at Nitro!

The task, should you choose to accept it, is to keep your hand on the board for as long as possible and outlast the competition - do you got what it takes??
