Just in time for the holidays, Fernie Brewing Company brings you the release of their newest brew, a Barrel Aged Stout, aged for 7 months in Red Wine barrels!
Their Barrel Aged Stout will be hitting shelves across BC and Alberta in the coming weeks, kicking off with a local release in our Tasting Room on Thursday, December 16th from 2pm.
With a rich infusion of roasted Crowsnest Coffee, this creamy Stout is a truly satisfying brew, any time of day.
The popular, and local, Crowsnest Coffee Roasters supply a special blend of coffee beans for this seasonal brew. These are added to the mash, along with a decadent amount of Chocolate, Roasted and Black malts. Add a touch of lactose powder, and you get a stout with amazing flavours and dreamy smoothness.
